Biography
The baseline of my current research is a data-driven approach to enhance the analysis of big datasets. The deluge of data can be streamlined through efficient computational approaches and experiment-specific details, often overlooked by theoretical methods. My research is focused on two aspects: (i) the development of novel methods for processing large datasets (with a focus on sequencing data and databases of phenotypic information) and (ii) developing approaches for revealing regulatory interactions mainly through collaborative bioinformatics analyses for which I can devise methods adapted to the experimental design.
Current efforts are focused on the integration of coding and non-coding genes into a neural-network based regulatory framework
