Biography
My laboratory focuses on the molecular aspects of sand fly salivary proteins with emphasis on the understanding of vector/host molecular interactions. The research of the section combines basic approaches together with veterinary and clinical research broadening our understanding of the relationship between immune responses to vector proteins in animal reservoirs and humans and disease outcome.
