Dr Alexandra (Alex) Spencer is a university lecturer and research group leader at the University of Newcastle, Australia, focused on understanding how the immune syetem responds to vaccine and infections. She is hihgly experienced in measuring adoptive immune responses across a variety of sites and species, gained through 16 years of research as the Jenner Institute, University of Oxford, developing vaccines against a range of infectious diseases.
