Biography
Dr Alexandra Spencer is a Senior Immunologist at the Jenner Institute, University of Oxford, involved in the development of vaccines against the pre-erythrocytic stage of malaria. Her work focuses on developing vaccines and vaccination strategies which enhance the frequency of CD8+ T cells responses and in particular inducing tissue resident CD8+ T cells in specific organs for improved vaccine efficacy.
