Andre Goncalves has published and worked extensively on transcriptome analysis, including mRNAs in bulk and single-cell sequencing in infectious disease and pneumonia projects. He is currently utilising machine learning models to classify elderly participants likely to become colonised with Streptococcus pneumoniae and to identify biomarkers for patients infected with the yellow fever virus during the acute phase of infection to predict who is at greatest risk of death
Furthermore, Andre has wet lab experience, enabling him to conduct molecular and cellular biology assay interpretation effectively. This expertise is critical for interpreting biological data accurately. With his knowledge and skills, Andre is fully equipped to develop projects and address any computational or biological bottleneck or limitations.
