Biography
Since the start of Dr Diavatopoulos's PhD studies, a central theme of her research has been respiratory tract infections. Her research focuses on understanding how immune memory to infectious diseases is (re)programmed and maintained during life, with a specific focus on mucosal immunity. Through a human-centric approach, her group aims to perform a systematic comparison between the immune responses to respiratory
infection and vaccination.
