Biography
More than 30 years of experience working on malaria research with focus on malaria transmission in Thailand and non-African countries. Develop in vitro/ex vivo and humanized models to study biology of malaria transmission (gametocytes, sporozoites) and liver stages with emphasize on P. vivax and its hosts (human/vector) and support drug and vaccine development. One of a few qualified resources for production of P. vivax infected mosquitoes which were used for the first P. vivax Challenge study at WRAIR and Oxford. Key opinion leader on malaria elimination.
