Biography
My research interests are focused on the molecular basis for microbe and metabolite modulation of mucosal inflammatory responses. In particular I’m interested in how non-pathogenic bacteria promote tolerance responses via epithelial cells, dendritic cells and lymphocytes. We are currently investigating the interaction between bacteria and regulatory cells on subsequent immune responses to respiratory virus infection.
