Manman's work centres on pre-clinical studies related to bacterial vaccine development. Specifically, she is developing immunoassays to assess immune responses to Clostridium difficile, with the goal of establishing a new controlled human challenge model targeting this pathogen. Additionally, she is involved in studying immune responses to evaluate protection against paratyphoid infection by a combination vaccine.
Manman's passion lies in translational medicine research, a field she has been involved in since 2015, when she worked at NDORMS, University of Oxford. During this period, Manman dedicated myself to investigating the immune regulations associated with drug development in multiple myeloma, as well as conducting target validation studies of endometriosis.
