Biography
Raja Waqar Ali is an internist and currently working as a PhD scholar at the Department of Medicine & Surgery, University of Insubria, Varese, Italy. Ali is currently focusing on MDR pathogens (MRSA,VRE, Carbapenem-resistant enterobacteriaceae, Acinetobacter baumannii and non-ferment gram-negatives, etc.) incidence and their treatment to evaluate efficacy and safety of the new molecules/antibiotics available for their treatment, particularly infections caused by gram negative pathogens. In addition Dr Ali is working in the field of HIV infection control and prevention research in Pakistan in resource limited settings.
