Biography
Dr Vandana Solanki currently works as a Research Scientist - I at AIIMS Jodhpur. She completed her PhD in Infectious Diseases Laboratory from Central University of Rajasthan, Ajmer, India. Her research includes the following fields:
1. Host-pathogen interaction study to target the adhesion site of interaction.
2. Screening of novel Antigenic target using subtractive proteomics and reverse vaccinology to control the bacterial mediated hospital mortality and morbidity.
3. Immunotherapeutic designing and validation of protein subunit vaccine vesicle vaccine to control the infection severity.
4. In vitro and In-silico interaction analysis between human host and bacterial proteins to identify potential therapeutic (drug/vaccine) targets.
5. Nanoparticle synthesis, characterization and validation as anti-bacterial and anti-cancerous (In-vitro) therapy.
6. Diagnostic research to identify the viral infection in human clinical samples (Blood, CSF, Nasopharyngeal Swab, stool, etc).
7. Identification of gene mutation site in viral genome through clinical samples screening (Miseq-Next Generation Sequencing).
