Biography
Christine Stabell Benn, MD, PhD, DMSc has worked at the Bandim Health Project in Guinea-Bissau (BHP, www.bandim.org) since 1993. Dr. Benn heads the Center of Excellence, the “Research Center for Vitamins and Vaccines” (CVIVA, www.cviva.dk), and also holds a position as Professor in Global Health at University of Southern Denmark. Dr. Benn’s research focuses on how vaccines and vitamins affect the immune system in more general ways than previously thought.
