Biography

A PhD student at the University of Zambia under the school of health sciences, and a postgraduate of Nottingham Trent University, achieving a Pass with Commendation Master of Science degree in Clinical Biotechnology. I have a Bachelor of Science Second Class Honours in Biomedical Science. I aim to improve my existing skills and expand my knowledge and experience in multiple disciplines within the field of Medical Bioscience Research.

I have developed a keen interest in Human Infection Challenge (HIC) research, which has been a motivation for my enrolment for my PhD and fellowship at CIDRZ. My interests lie in knowledge in research of enteric pathogens, understanding their molecular epidemiology and aetiology from various research groups in Africa and beyond. This platform would create opportunities for collaborations with other research groups that share the same interests in enteric disease challenge studies. I would like to gain more experience in infectious diseases as an up-coming researcher. This membership would connect me with other organisations that provide training programs to enhance my abilities.
