Biography:
I am a clinician by training and have worked at the paediatric department at the Antonius Hospital in Utrecht for 1,5 years after receiving my medical diploma. I have started my PhD with the department of Medical Microbiology at the Radboudumc in March 2024 and will be working on Plasmodium vivax controlled human malaria infection trials as part of the Optivivax Consortium. I am interested in transmission-blocking vaccines and specifically the best endpoints for determining their efficacy.
