Biography
Dr Edward Parker is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Infectious Disease Epidemiology. His research explores the causes of impaired oral vaccine effectiveness in low-income countries, with a particular emphasis on the potential contribution of the intestinal microbiome. His work spans both the lab bench and the downstream analysis of next-generation sequence data, though increasingly his emphasis has been on the latter.
