Thursday, 18 November, 2021 - 09:00 to Friday, 19 November, 2021 - 17:00

Description

All our members are welcome to attend our Annual Meeting 2021, November 18-19 in Buckinghamshire, UK at the beautiful Latimer Estate https://www.devere.co.uk/latimer-estate/. The meeting provides an excellent opportunity to network with other members interested in or already using human infection models to further research in infectious disease, and to hear about the exciting projects HIC-Vac are funding.

This year, to accommodate potential travel restrictions, we will be holding a hybrid meeting. This means you are welcome to join us free of charge virtually. You will be able to listen to the talks live and join in the Q&A sessions. Because there will be a virtual option, we will not be providing any travel awards.

Fees

There will be a small charge of £15 to attend the meeting in person. Please only purchase a ticket if you wish to be present in person at the conference; there is no charge for joining virtually

If Covid-19 restrictions change and the meeting cannot take place, tickets are refundable.

The meetings are open to all Network Investigators, Associates and Affiliates, but you must be a member to attend. Membership is free – if you are not yet a member, you can join here https://www.hic-vac.org/members/become-a-member.

Programme

The full list of speakers will be available near the time, but we have talks from Professor Peter Openshaw, Professor Andrew Pollard, Professor Anna Durbin, Dr Chris Chiu, Professor Helen McShane, Professor Stephen Gordon, Professor Jetsumon Prachumsri, Professor Meta Roestenberg, and Professor Nick Grassly in the programme.
