Biography
I studied medicine in Greece at the Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki. After completing my studies in 2013, I subsequently moved to the UK. I completed my foundation and core medical training in the Royal Liverpool Hospital and Leighton Hospitals in 2018. At that time, I commenced my higher specialty training in Respiratory and General Internal Medicine.
Currently, I am a PhD student with the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, where I work as a clinical research fellow. My work involves the Experimental Human Pneumococcal Challenge to improve currently available pneumococcal vaccines.
