Biography
I am currently working as an academic immunologist in the Department of Infectious Disease, with an interest in mucosal and systemic immunity to respiratory viral infections, including influenza, COVID-19 and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). I have a particular interest in the use of human challenge studies carried out in older adults, to define age-related changes to infection in innate, humoral and cell-mediated immunity.
