Biography
Sana holds a master's degree in medical biotechnology with a strong focus on various areas, including molecular medicine, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, immunology and genetics. Additionally, Sana has completed a diploma in immunology and pharmacology from Harvard Medical school, where she leant about innovative therapies for chronic inflammation, autoimmunity, allergies and drug delivery.
Currently, she works as a quality and assurance trainee where she actively engages in quality control and assurance, as well as carrying out laboratory audits such as CAP and ISO. Her primary research interests are parasitology, with a specific focus on Leishmaniasis. She is passionate about exploring new and innovative approaches to tackling infectious diseases and is looking forward to the opportunity to collaborate with other network members and explore potential research projects and Ph.D. opportunities in this field.
